NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE FIRM FIXED-PRICE CONTRACT to Meridian Systems Inc. for the monitoring of the HVAC Direct Digital Control System Maintenance for the Troop Clinic at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, AK. This maintenance award will be a sole source platform and product. Meridian Systems Inc. is the only vendor authorized for this service and authorized installer / maintenance of the Automated Logic Corporation HVAC Emergency monitoring systems. Due to its proprietary connections and functions with the ALC Products, Meridian Systems Inc. is the sole source for all ALC products, after sales service, and warranty on all ALC products installed in their territory. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals, nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement is based on responses to this notice and is within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. A solicitation will not be issued.
