56--INTENT TO AWARD

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Mission & Installation Contracting Command, Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall Installation Contracting Office, on behalf of the Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall Directorate of Public Works (DPW) JBM-HH, Virginia intends to award a 8a direct award firm fixed price contract in accordance with Far Subpart 19.8(b) under the expressed authority of 15 U.S.C. 637(a). The JBM-HH DPW has a requirement to repair the exterior concrete elevator shaft wall sections, sealing the elevator shaft envelope, and replace the existing wood and metal elevator shaft roof material with in-like material and style in BLDG 201on Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall, VA 22211. The Government intends to make an 8(a) direct award to Summit Construction & Environmental Services, 6290 Old Warwick Rd Suite D, Richmond, VA 23224. The FSC Code is 5680 and the NAICS Code is 238190. This action will result in a single Firm Fixed- Price (FFP) contract with a period of performance of eighty days (80).
