S--NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Gas, Water, Sewer, and Garbage Utilities Dublin, GA Med by Mail Facility (Leased)

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), National Acquisition Center intends to enter into a sole-source procurement with the City of Dublin (Georgia). This proposed award is being conducted under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Meds by Mail leased facility (approximately 8,946 square feet) at 2103 Veterans Blvd, Unit 2, Dublin, GA 31021 has a requirement for gas/water/sewer/garbage utility services. VA has determined that the City of Dublin, is the only responsible source that provides these utility services to the specified area where the leased facility is located. No other provider of these utility services will satisfy this requirement, as they must be capable of meeting City of Dublin requirements for providing utilities for the existing leased facility. This will be a firm fixed price contract award for a base period of two years, with four, two year option periods based on published utility service pricing for the periods indicated. NAICS Code 221210 and the Small Business Size Standard of 500 employees apply to this procurement. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
