Fish Habitat Enhancement Project Construction

INVITATION FOR BID - for Fish Habitat Enhancement Project Construction - Sealed bids for the construction of the Meacham Creek Floodplain Restoration & In-stream Enhancement (Phase II) Project (Umatilla County, Oregon), will be received by the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation, Department of Natural Resources, Fisheries Program, at the office of Michael Lambert, Project Manager, until 2:00 pm PST on Tuesday, April 30, 2013. Bids will be publicly opened at 2:15 pm PST on this same day. Sealed bids shall be addressed to the CTUIR - DNR Fisheries Program, 46411 Timine Way, Pendleton, Oregon 97801. The outer envelope should clearly indicate: "Meacham Creek Floodplain Restoration and In-stream Enhancement (Phase II) Project"- ATTN: Michael Lambert - SEALED BID - DO NOT OPEN." Contracting documents may be obtained at the CTUIR Governance Building, DNR Fisheries Program, 46411 Timine Way, Pendleton, Oregon or by phoning 541-429-7292. The project includes in-stream and floodplain placement of wood and rock, removal or modification of levees and spur dikes, placement of backfill material in the floodplain, and increase of off-channel and side-channel habitat. Minority Business Enterprises (MBE), Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (WBE) will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids on this contract and will not be subject to discrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin or sex in consideration of this award. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security equivalent to ten percent of the bid amount. The successful bidder must post a performance bond and payment bond in a sum equal to 100 percent of the contract price upon execution of the contract.
