The proposed contract action is to provide for Hydrilla detection and extermination on USACE property at Eastman Lake in Madera and Mariposa Counties, CA during 01 October 2 004 thru 30 September 2005. According to the California Dept. of Food and Agriculture the work of detection and extermination of Hydrilla must be performed by the California Dept. of Food and Agriculture in order for the California Dept. of Food and Agricu lture to make regulatory or treatment decisions. The Government intends to award a contract on a sole source basis to California Department of Food & Agriculture.
