The 23rd Contracting Squadron/LGCB plans to establish a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for Extreme Cold Weather Sleeping System (ECWS) Cleaning. The BPA will be for a period not to exceed 5 years. Price per bag: Statement of Work For Sleeping Bag Cleaning Basic unit of issue for the ECWS is: -1 Compression Sack used to carry sleeping system -2 Sleeping bags, (1 thick and 1 thin) -1 Gortex Outer Shell All Items above encompass the Extreme Cold Weather Sleeping System. Washing Instructions Launder sleeping bags according to use and care instructions. (Turn bag inside out, close zipper, and tie neck opening, use three ounces of commercially available quaternary ammonium softener and bacteriostat. Dry sleeping bags should be placed in a tumbler at a temperature not exceeding 130oF.) As an alternative, the sleeping bag may be machine laundered using the delicate/gentle cycle.
