The Contracted Services provide Standby/On Call Roman Catholic funerals at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia, or at any designated place within the National Capital Region in fulfillment of Arlington National Cemeterys mission, and in accordance with the Army Regulations and Federal Acquisition Regulations. When no other contracted Roman Catholic Priest is available; or no other Active or Reserve Component Roman Catholic Chaplain or Priest is not available, or when the Roman Catholic Funeral schedule did not allow for sufficient and adequate coordination for a Roman Catholic Priest, the services of the Standby or On Call Roman Catholic Priest can be acquired under the provisions of this statement of work and this standing contract. He will conduct funeral religious services, memorial services, and graveyard services in accordance with the doctrine of the Roman Catholic Church and as outlined in this statement of work. He shall also provide additional pastoral ministrations in couns eling prior each service in preparation for each service. As a non-personal service contractor, the Contractor is not a member of the Military Chaplaincy and will not wear military uniforms.
