The Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk Contracting Department, Groton Office requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing Preventive Maintenance and Repair Services of Food Service Equipment for Naval Station Newport, RI in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (will be included in the solicitation). This is a Request for Quotes (RFQ) for commercial services prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6 (Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items), using Simplified Acquisition Procedures for commercial items found at FAR Part 13 and Subpart 13.5 (Test Program for Certain Commercial Items) as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This RFQ shall be posted on both the FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (https://www.neco.navy.mil/). The Request for Quote (RFQ) number is N00189-14-T-G131. The NAICS codes are 811412 - Appliance Repair & Maintenance (Small Business Standard $14 Million), or 811310 –Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (Except Automotive and Electronic Repairs and Maintenance)(Small Business standard is $7 Million. This is a Small Business Set Aside competitive action. The proposed contract will be made as a Firm Fixed Price Commercial type contract. It is the vendor's responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions.
