LIVING QUARTERS SYNOPSIS 3/30/10 631 Coyote Street, Nevada City, CA 95959 NAICS 721310 It is the intent of this agency to award a sole source contract under the statutory authority 10 USC 2304(c)(1), set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements. This agency intends to award to Vail Resorts - Heavenly Ski Resort, South Lake Tahoe, CA. The requirements for the Living Quarters must meet the following specifications: Provide fully furnished living quarters for 12-60 employees from May 9 through October 23, 2010, with-in the city limits of South Lake Tahoe, CA. These living quarters must have 12 to 60 Beds (singles), kitchen facilities including dishwasher, stove, microwave, refrigerator, cooking and eating utensils, dishes, and coffee maker; living quarters fully furnished with the following; TV with cable service provided, table, chairs, couches, vacuum cleaner; all utilities included in price; as well as routine maintenance and repairs including light bulb replacement, plumbing, utility services and repairs. The living quarters must be located at one facility and an on-site property manager for the facility is required. Monthly payment will be paid in arrears. This notice of intent is not a solicitation for competitive proposals. However, The Government will consider all capability statements, addressing the specifications above, received by 2:00 PM on April 13, 2010. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses to this notice of intent are received by 2:00 PM on April13, 2010, the contract award for these Living Quarters will be made to Vail Resorts - Heavenly Ski Resort, South Lake Tahoe, CA. Market Research was conducted for the availability of Living Quarters and the above mentioned company was the only source found to be able to supply this service as required.
