Sources sought This is a sources sought notice only. No formal solicitation documents exist at this time. The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking potential sources to provide Solid Waste Management Services for the North Texas Health Care System, Dallas, Texas. Services will include store, pick-up and dispose of "grounds trash", "refuse", and other non-hazardous materials. Requirements shall also include maintenance and repair of compacting equipment, and servicing and cleaning of all collection containers. Contract will require contractor to provide stationary compact units, self contained compactors, roll-off containers, closable containers and provide all maintenance and repair services on contractor owned equipment. The NAIC code for this requirement is 562111. Size standard is $11.5M. Responses to this notice should include the following: Name and address of company; business size (large or small); identify whether or not firm falls into any of the following socioeconomic categories: 8(a), HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran-Owned; firms experience in providing solid waste management services and any other pertinent information which demonstrates firms ability to meet the above requirement.
