Support Services from HUBZone, WOSB, and SDVOSBs

The General Services Administration's Federal Acquisition Service Region 5 Chicago issues this Request for Information (RFI) in order to identify Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone), Women-Owned (WOSB), and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned (SDVOSB) Small Businesses having the capability to provide the types of services listed below. This is not a request associated with a known specific requirement. It is outreach to industry to help identify firms in these three socioeconomic categories in the event a future need arises. This RFI is for information and planning purposes only, does not constitute a solicitation for bids or proposals, and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government will not pay for any effort expended in response to this RFI. We invite comments/information on : Identification of whether or not your company meets one of the following socioeconomic categories: HUBZONE (FAR 19.13) Woman Owned Small Business (FAR 19.15) Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (FAR 19.14) Identification as to whether or not your company is capable of providing the following types of services (and a brief statement regarding experience having done so) in Chicago, IL, O'Fallon, IL, Fairborn, OH and/or the rest of the R5 FAS geographic territory (Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, Wisconsin). If you are submitting a capabilities statement in response to the RFI, we suggest it be five pages or less. The labor categories/areas of interest are the following: Acquisition Support Administrative Support Clerical Support Contract Specialist Support Copy Editor Copy Writer Database Marketing Graphic Designer HTML Specialist Order Clerk Procurement Technician Responses are initially requested by August 20, 2013.
