Conditions of Detention Subject Matter Expertise (SME) Request for Information

This Request for Informaiton (RFI) is to conduct market research for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as an obligation on the part of the Government. This is NOT a Request for Quotations or Proposals. No solicitation document exists, and a formal solicitation may or may not be issued by the Government as a result of the responses received to this RFI. DHS may (or may not), at the agency’s sole discretion, issue a formal solicitation for this requirement at a later time. The Government will not pay for any response or demonstration expenses. Any information received will become the property of the Government and will not be returned to the submitter. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary or competition sensitive information contained in their response. The purpose of this RFI is for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to identify qualified and interested small and/or other socioeconomic groups with experience within the referenced requirement, request recommended labor categories, and request vendor comments on the below stated information to help narrow the scope of the requirement. This RFI is being issued solely for DHS’s informational and planning purposes, as it may relate to acquisition strategy, planning schedules, feasibility of the requirement, and development of the requirement.
