R -- NAVAIR Comptroller Department Support

Naval Air Warfare Center (Aircraft Division) Patuxent River, MD, has a requirement for the continuing support to the NAVAIR Comptroller, the Financial Systems Department, and the Business Operations Department AIR 10.0, 10.5, 10.0E and 6.8. Work to be performed will be in specific areas of accounting and financial systems, particularly in depth working knowledge of NAVAIR's SIGMA and work in preparation for Navy ERP for the period of 29 February 2008 through 28 February 2012 (including options). The contractor shall provide business process support, which includes financial management, change management, and Comptroller human capital initiatives to NAVAIR, AIR 10.0, 10.5, and 10.0E, as determined by the statement of work. This requirement is a small business set-aside. It is anticipated that an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract with Firm Fixed Price delivery orders will be awarded with a base year and four one-year options. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The solicitation is anticipated to be posted on FedBizOpps on 12 December 2007. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 541219 and the associated size standard is $7.5 million. The majority of work for this requirement will take place at NAS Patuxent River, MD.
