PACKING AND CRATING: THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. There is no solicitation package available at this time. Dover AFB, DE is seeking information regarding the availability of qualified Small Disadvantaged Businesses, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses, Women Owned Small Businesses, Hubzone Certified Businesses, or other Small Business concerns to perform Packing and Crating Services for Dover Air Force Base. To qualify as a Small Business concern, a firm and its affiliates must be independently owned and operated, not dominant in the field of operation in which it is proposing on government contract, and qualifies as a small business under the criteria and size standards in 13 CFR Part 121 (see FAR 19.102). The applicable NAICS code is 484210 and size standard is $21,500,000. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES REQUIRED: Contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment, supervision, transportation and management necessary to perform personal property packing and crating, and related services for inbound, outbound and local movement, storage, and related services, in accordance with the performance work statement. Services under this contract are required to be performed in the following location(s): Area I: Kent and Sussex Counties, Delaware; Area II: Caroline, Dorchester, Kent, Queen Annes, Somerest, Talbot, Wicomico, and Worchester Counties, Maryland; Area III: New Castle County, Delaware; Schedule III: Intra-city and Intra-area moves. The initial contract period will be for the period 1 January 2006 through 31 December 2006. Option Year 1 is 1 January 2007 through 31 December 2007. Option Year 2 is 1 January 2008 through 31 December 2008. Option Year 3 is 1 January 2009 through 31 December 2009. Option Year 4 is 1 January 2010 through 31 December 2010. If Dover Air Force Base receives sufficient positive responses to this request for information, the referenced services will be set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Businesses, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses, Women Owned Small Businesses, Hubzone Certified Businesses, or other Small Business concerns.
