V--Packing, Containerization, and Local Drayage of Direct Procurement Method (DPM) Personal Property Shipments (OUTBOUND)

The Fleet Logistics Center (FLC), Norfolk VA, is in the process of developing the acquisition strategy to obtain non-personal services for Packing, Containerization, and Local Drayage of Direct Procurement Method (DPM) Personal Property Shipments (OUTBOUND) for NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk Personal Property Office. The anticipated period of performance will cover a one-year base period with four, one-year options. The government expects to make an award on or about 30 September 2012. This acquisition will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). A “DRAFTâ€� Performance Work Statement (PWS) is posted in conjunction with this sources sought notice. The government seeks industry input to further develop an acquisition strategy and hear from interested vendors that have the capability to support this requirement. Interested businesses are encouraged to submit a capabilities statement that describes their ability to support this requirement with the anticipated scope. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 484210 and the applicable size standard is $25.5 million. Please include along with the capabilities statement your CAGE Code, DUNS Number, and business size under the applicable NAICS code, as well as any other pertinent information.
