THE PURPOSE OF THIS SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS IS TO GAIN KNOWLEDGE OF POTENTIAL QUALIFIED SOURCES AND THEIR SIZE CLASSIFICATIONS (HUBZONE, 8(a), SMALL, SMALL DISADVANTAGE, AND LARGE BUSINESS) RELATIVE TO NAICS CODE 484210 (SIZE STANDARD OF $25.5 MILLION AVERAGE ANNUAL RECEIPTS FOR PRECEDING THREE FISCAL YEARS). RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS WILL BE USED BY THE GOVERNMENT TO MAKE APPROPRIATE ACQUISITION DECISIONS. RESPONSES MUST BE RECEIVED IN WRITING OR ELECTRONICALLY NO LATER THAN 30 JANUARY 2013. Travis AFB is seeking sources within Northern California to provide local and direct procurement moving services to include packing, crating, and related services incidental to the movement of household goods. The Contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, facilities, supplies, services and materials for the preparation of personal property of Department of Defense personnel for shipment and/or storage and related services. Period of Performance is 1 October 2013 through 30 September 2014 with four option years. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it obligate the Government to pay any proposal preparation costs. This notice is to help Travis AFB in determining potential sources only. No solicitation is currently available. All firms responding to this announcement are advised that their response is not a request to be considered for a contract award.
