The Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Fort Irwin issues this sources sought synopsis for market research purposes, in an effort to obtain information regarding business type, size and capabilities to provide Drayage of Personal Property, in support of the National Training Center, Fort Irwin, California. The information received from this announcement will be utilized for planning purposes within the Government to facilitate the decision making processes, the development of the acquisition strategy and will not be disclosed outside of the Government. The contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, facilities, supplies, services and materials, for the preparation of personal property of military members and civilian's employees for movement of drayage and related services. Work to be performed will be those services in the Schedules awarded to the contractor as outlined in individual Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) items. Tasks by type of move are reflected in Table G-1. Task/Type of Move Matrix, showing which tasks normally apply to each type of move. Specific requirements for each task are described below. If specific instructions or requirements are not provided, commercial standards of services and best business practices are acceptable. TABLE G-1.
