This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Synopsis (market survey). This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command Joint Base Lewis McChord is performing market research for Department of Logistics on JBLM, Washington. If a new requirement is awarded; it will be awarded as a firm-fixed price, contract base with 3 one(1)-month option periods (01 MAR 2013 through 30 JUN 2013). The primary type of work will include facilities support services under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 484110. The small business size standard for this NAICS is $25.5 Million average annual revenue for the last three fiscal years. Work under this requirement shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items and services, except that specified herein as Government-furnished, necessary to perform the delivery of Hazardous Material Control Center (HMCC) materials to all Fort Lewis/McChord AFB installation supported customers. Contractor shall provide three (3) drivers to work at the Hazardous Materials Management Center (HMCC), Fort Lewis, WA, for the purpose of delivering supplies issued by the HMCC to supported customers throughout Fort Lewis, WA, and McChord Air Force Base, WA. Any response to this sources sought must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government.
