GENERAL: The purpose of this market survey is to gather information regarding prospective vendors of one (1) Off-shore Supply Vessel (OSV) to the U.S. Navy. •1. SCOPE OF WORK: The vessel will perform Test and Evaluation (T&E) and Fleet Training missions in support of the Atlantic Target and Marine Operations (ATMO) and its diverse customer base. The vessel will have a minimum length of 140 feet (maximum 170 feet) with a minimum aft deck space of 2700 sq ft and berthing spaces for 20 personnel(crew included). It must meet the following minimum specifications: •a. Class: Offshore Supply Vessel •b. Minimum Cruise Speed: 10 knots •c. Hull Material and Age: Steel, between 5 and 20 yrs old •d. Full Fuel Load Draft Maximum: 11 feet (no water ballast) •e. Length Overall (LOA): 140 feet minimum to 170 feet maximum •f. Number of Berths (Minimum, crew included): 20 •g. Aft Deck Space: 2700 square feet •h. Engine Power: Diesel •i. Aft Helm Station: Installed •j. Bow Thruster: Installed •k. Off-ship Fire Fighting Capability: Water Cannon Topside •l. "Out of Water" documented survey of Hull and Machinery: Within the last 3 years •2. AREA OF OPERATIONS: The vessel will operate in US eastern coastal waters. •3. CONTRACT STYLE: Firm-Fixed Price. •4.
