Request for Information / Sources Sought Notice The US Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO 6) has a requirement for Dairy Products for 4 North Carolina Facilities, VAMC Asheville, VAMC Durham, VAMC Fayetteville and VAMC Salisbury, The requirement will include various flavors of ice cream and a variety of milk products. The Contracting Specialist is conducting market research through this RFI / Sources Sought Notice to seek contract sources for purchase. This requirement is for Fiscal Year 2014, once contract is in place a delivery order will be done for each facility. 1. Whole milk ½, print 94,820. EA. 2. 2% milk, ½ pint. 337,400. EA. 3. Skim milk, 1/2 pint 119,300 EA. 4. Chocolate milk, ½ pint 27,700. EA. 5. Buttermilk, ½ pint 4350. EA. 6. Cottage Cheese, 5# Container, 1 % fat, 170 CO. 7. Milk skim nonfat, gallon container, 196.00 GL. 8. Drink, orange, gallon container, 1032. GL. 9. Vanilla ice cream, 4 oz. container, 24 /pkg, 690 PG. 10. Chocolate ice cream 4 oz./24/pkg. 500 PG. 11. Strawberry ice cream 4 oz./24 pkg. 350 PG. 12. Lime Sherbet, 4 oz. container, 24/pkg. 150 PG. 13. Orange Sherbet, 4 oz. containers, 24pkg. 250 PG. A determination by the Government to compete the proposed procurement based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
