This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability and potential qualifications of service-disabled veteran owned small businesses, veteran owned small businesses, and small businesses relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 424430 Dairy Product (except Dried or Canned) merchant wholesalers. The Department of Veteran s Affairs is seeking veteran owned small business, or veteran owned small business, or small business distributors of the following sample of dairy products (but not restricted to): Description Qty Whole Milk, 1/2 pint 72,000 1% LowFat White Milk, 1/2 pint 144,000 Chocolate Milk, 1/2 pint 97,200 Skim Milk, 1/2 pint 3,000 Buttermilk, 1/2 pint 3,000 1% LowFat White Milk, gallon 960 Quantities are yearly estimates. Descriptions are a sample, actual dairy products are varied and would include items, for example, such as ice cream cups. The delivery location is: VA Medical Center, Nutrition & Food Service, 17273 State Route 104, Chillicothe, OH 45601. Interested sources are requested to submit an email delineating qualification, capabilities, and experience for providing dairy products. Please include your business size with your submittal. This is not a Request for Proposal or an announcement of a solicitation and no solicitation package exists at this time. Your responses will be used solely for market research purposes of the Government.
