The Anniston Army Depot (ANAD) requests product information only for powered adjustable height platforms that will be used to provide fall protection rails for overhaul operation on vehicles of various sizes and heights up to 12 feet high. The platfo rm needs to travel in two axis - forward/backward and sideways (Laterally). This will allow the employee to drive it right up to the vehicle on which he or she is to work. The side guardrail of the platform must open up to allow the employee to walk from t he lift to the vehicle. The guardrail must be extendable to a length of 20 feet to provide fall protection along the entire side of the vehicle and must have attachment points so that chains can be attached to platforms parked on opposite sides of the vehi cle to act as fall protection across the ends of the vehicle. The platform must have a 6 -12 inch extension on the front of the platform to facilitate mating to vehicles with a curved top. The lift must be plumbed to receive air lines and 110V electrical o utlets. AC Power is available. ANAD is a busy industrial facility that repairs, upgrades, overhauls tracked combat vehicles. Platforms should be sturdy, have the ability to be driven over a rough shop floor, be used in a variety of heavy industrial settings.
