34--HAAS TL-2 Lathe, Installation, Training, and Tooling - Request for Information

THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT OR REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. This is a market research tool being used to determine the availability and adequacy of potential business sources prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of a Request for Proposal including the use of any small business programs. The intent of this information request is to identify potential small businesses that can provide the following items: (1) HAAS TL-2 Lathe from HAAS Automation, Inc. - QTY 1 (2) Installation of the HAAS TL-2 Lathe into designated area aboard MCB Quantico, Virginia (3) Hands-on operator training and instruction on use of the HAAS TL-2 Lathe machine (4) Appropriate HAAS TL-2 Tooling Package Marine Corps Systems Command will use the results of this announcement to determine what capabilities exist in the marketplace to fulfill the Government's requirement. This request is for planning purposes only. The Government will not pay or provide reimbursement for any costs incurred in the preparation or delivery of the request for information.
