The purpose of this Sources Sought Announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified Small Businesses interested and capable of performing the work. Description: The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Integrated Services Network 22, is seeking a contractor to provide of two (2) battery powered electric platform carts. Product specifications: Self propelled platform cart uses a 24V DC, 600 watt drive motor powered by two 12V DC batteries offering 4 hours of use between charges. Battery powered platform truck features variable 1-1/2 to 1-7/8 MPH speed control with 1-1/2 MPH reverse. Platform cart measures 73"L x 35"W overall with removable side guards to retain contents during transport and LED headlights for nighttime use. Includes variable speed control, forward/reverse controls, battery charger, battery level gauge and key lock-out. Height adjustable handle includes wire basket for additional storage. 52-3/4"L x 33-3/4"W deck with 17-1/4" deck height. Platform cart features 14" x 6" pneumatic drive tires and 11" x 3-1/2" rear pneumatic swivel wheels for easy mobility. Shipped assembled.
