****Solicitation is being modified to assign a new solicitation number. New solicitation number will be HSCG40-13-R-51009; all future correspondences will be under the new solicitation number. This modification is to change solicitation number only, do not send in bid request.**** NAICS: 423830 (500 employees) The U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center, Small Boat Product Line, has a requirement to procure parts and components for the 32' Transportable port Security Boat (TPSB) (see attached PDF for parts). All parts supplied must be authentic genuine Kvichak Marine Industries (KMI) parts - no substitutes or aftermarket parts shall be accepted. It is the Governments belief that only Kvichak Marine or their authorized distributors can provide these exact parts and ensure firm fit and function with existing equipment. However, other concerns having the capabilities within 15calender days from the day this notice is posted. The information submitted must include: (1) Complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the acceptability of the offered parts (i.e., salient physical, functional, and performance characteristics) and/or (2) Data that the offered parts have been satisfactorily manufactured for the Government or the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). This data must include sufficient information to allow the Coast Guard to evaluate the information relative to the above requirements. Concerns that respond to this notice must fully demonstrate the capability to accomplish the above and are to supply pertinent information in sufficient detail to demonstrate a bona fide capability to meet the requirements. Inquires/information received after the established deadline shall not impede award of this contract. The Government does NOT intend to pay for information solicited.
