The United States Geological Survey, Office of Acquisition and Grants is soliciting information from qualified Small Business sources, the results of this announcement will be evaluated to determine if at least two Small Business sources are capable of performing the proposed work. The US Geological Survey, Office of Acquisition and Grants seeks responses from Small Business Vendors that possess the capability to provide the following: Quantity: Two (2) Used heavy capacity diesel engine tractors for use by the USGS Drill Group, to meet the minimum specifications: - Made in the USA - Previously Titled, on a public lot - Year 2012 or newer - Mileage/hours < 250,000/5000 - Engine: diesel/min 500hp@1500 ft/lb torque - Jake or engine brake - Wheel base-minimum 230" - Front axle minimum weight of 18,000 lbs - Rear axles are tandem with minimum 46,000lbs plus a 20,000lb float/tag axle - Suspension: air or spring - Transmission: Automatic or Manual - Wheels: steel or aluminum - Day cab - Fifth wheel: air actuated sliding type - Differentials: locking - Delivered to Las Vegas, NV or Denver, CO For further information, interested parties may contact the Contracting Officer, Charlan Cabalsi at (916)278-9329 or [email protected].
