The 347th Contracting Squadron/MSCB is seeking to establish a Basic Purchasing Agreement to expedite contracting for uncertain requirements for supplies in which specific items, quantities, and prices will not be known at the time this agreement will be executed, a substantial number of requirements for the supplies covered by the agreement are anticipated to be purchased from the contractor. This agreement will be established to obtain a purchasing agreement for nuts, bolts, and misc auto parts for Vehicle Maintenance. After award the vendor will provide part numbers on each item. Service to the account will be “on-site” at MAFB. Vendor will service with account on a regular basis and replenish inventory as required. However, no inventory will occur until approved by Material Control personnel. Vendor will provide a “hose crimping machine” capable of crimping hydraulic hose up to 1-1/2”, free of charge for the duration of the contract. Vendor will provide cabinets or storage bins for all working stock, free of charge for the duration of the contract. Vendor will provide consumption data on a quarterly basis or upon request. Vendor will provide MSDSs on all applicable products furnished upon request. Vendor will assist with preparation of Hazardous Material Authorization Request (AF Form 3952) for products that require HAZMAT certification. Vendors time frame: 4 hours in the local trade area (50 mile radius for Moody AFB North Gate) 12 hours in the Regional Trade Area (Southeastern U.S.).
