17 -- Rim Assembly Deadload

The purpose of this acquisition is to procure five (5) Rim Assembly Deadloads, in accordance with NAVAIR Lakehhurst drawing package 607795-2. Delivery is required by Feb 06. Remarque Manufacturing Corp., Hampton, VA is the only company in the position to produce the requirement to the revised drawing package. The Government intends to modify an existing purchase order under the authority of 10 usc 2304(c)(1)and FAR 6.302-1, and under an approved Justification and Approval. Firms that can produce and deliver the item within the alloted time are encouraged to identify themselves. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which may be considered by the Government in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
