The purpose of this amendment is to post the following questions and answers: Question 1 - Will you need a producer of the materials or just machining of components of CFM? Answer 1 - The market survey is for machining only, not production of materials. Question 2 - If this work materializes, it appears to be low volume but can you get an estimate of the quantity or award value of the total efforts? Answer 2 - Since this is a market survey only, no estimate of quantity or award value can be provided. At this time the Government only can estimate small quantities of components <100 as delineated in the Sources Sought notice. Question 3 - Can you send us the technical contact for this effort so we can have a dialog on the types and sizes of parts that are anticipated? Answer - 3 - All questions/concerns need to be sent in writing to the point of contact in the Sources Sought notice, Mr. William Tenz. The types of parts will be right circular cylinders from roughly 1/4" in diameter and 3" to 40" in length. All other terms of the notice remain unchanged.
