A. Objective To find sources that are qualified to meet the supplies/services as listed in section 11B. Note that the specific requirements in section C are subject to change prior to the release of any solicitation. B. Technical Specifications The Government requires quantity one (1) twelve inch by twelve inch by one inch (12”x12”x1”) thick Magnesium (Mg) Alloy (AMX602) plate. The plate must yield an Ultimate Tensile Strength of 400 Mega Pascal (MPa) and a ductility of twenty percent. Currently, the only known manufacturer to yield the aforementioned specifications is Taber Extrusions.
