Industrial Grade Multi-use Pallet Covers

This sources sought announcement is for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a commitment by the U.S. Government (USG) for any purpose. This announcement does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ) and no contract will be awarded as a result of this announcement. The USG intends to use any information submitted in response to this request to develop an acquisition strategy for future requirements of this item. The USG will hold all information submitted in a confidential status. The purpose of this Sources Sought is to identify potential domestic manufacturers and/or suppliers of weatherproof pallet covers. Some salient characteristics of this item include: Durable, lightweight and five sided coverage (top plus four sides) with one of the sides sealed and three of the four able to be opened and closed by velcro, snaps or zippers (108"W x 88"L x 96"H) for ease of installation. The product should be reusable, see-through or opaque with a window for pallet identification. This cover should also be water, UV resistant, and mildew resistant. Reinforced edges would be highly desirable. Also, list any installation tools necessary and average lifespan or recommended number of uses. The procured commercial items will be used by the Department of Defense as covers for personal property TDY shipments.
