This is a Sources Sought Notice for a commercial requirement to support the Directorate of Logistics at the US Military Academy, West Point, NY. The requirement will be fulfilled using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13. This requirement is also set aside for Small Businesses and the NAICS Code applicable to this procurement is 316210 which has a size standard of 1,000 employees. The Government intends to award a single vendor Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA)for five (5) years, to the responsible vendor that provides a response to this notice which is capable of providing the needed requirement described herein at the overall lowest price. The requirement will be for a vendor to provide a mobile showmobile approximately twice a year to visit the US Military Academy for the purpose of providing safety shoes and boots. See the attachment titled quote mark Sample Listing of Shoes and Boots quote mark . Also, see the attachment titled quote mark Statement of Work quote mark which provides a description of the requirement. Finally, see the attachment titled quote mark List of Line Items to Quote quote mark . Note: the List of Sample Shoes and Boots is just to provide a sample for each of the line items. Vendors may submit pricing on any brand and model which they feel is similar to the samples listed. The Government will use the responses to determine a vendor with the best overall pricing and also the capability to provide the requirement. Interested vendors shall provide their pricing on the attached List of Line Items to Quote. The Contractors will be held to the pricing submitted for the first year of the BPA and after that, the contractor would need to provide two (month) notice prior to any price changes. Vendors must also provide information regarding their capability to provide the required shoemobile. Also, vendors must provide references for previous contracts for the same or similar type of requirement. It is expected that all payments against the resultant BPA would be paid by use of the Government Purchase Card. This notice will be the only means of soliciting vendors for this requirement and there will not be a separate Request for Quotes/Proposals issued.
