89--ICE, CRUSHED AND BLOCKED

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS ONLY!. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES OR PROPOSALS. IT IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY! The information will be used to make an informed business judgement. The government is seeking sources capable of providing blocked and bagged, artifical ice, 20 to 50 pound in plastic bags to Fort Jackson, SC. Lease of freezers will be included. The contractor shall be responsible to deliver ice to various areas to include ranges and training sites on post. A base and four option years contract is anticipated. NOTE: The contractors facility shall be listed on the DOD Directory List of Sanitarily Approved Food Establishments in order to be considered. All qualified sources may submit a capabilities statement via email to the contract specialist. Packages shall contain a list of current/recent contracts for ice held by interested source. Responses to the source sought synopsis shall include the size status of the company and shall be received by the specialist prior to 4:15PM (ET)16 July 2012 in order to be considered. Any questions shall be emailed to the attention of the contract specialist. Telephone requests will not be honored.
