SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE - FRESH MILK (NAICS 311511) This is not a solicitation announcement. This is a sources sought notice for the identification of potential vendors to provide Fresh Milk Products; i.e. such as but not limited to: Milk; Whole, 2%, 1%, Nonfat (Skim), in 8oz cartons, gallons, and 3-5 gallon dispensing cartons; Half & Half cream; yogurt; and ice cream, with 2-3 days per week delivery schedules to local VA facilities in VISN 1 (Rhode Island, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine). A firm fixed price Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) is ultimately anticipated with a delivery performance period from October 1, 2012, through September 30, 2013, plus one (1) additional annual renewable option period. The solicitation package may be available on or about July 31, 2012. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their business size classification relative to NAICS 311511. Consistent with the VA's Veterans First Contracting Program, VA is particularly interested in identifying Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses and/or Veteran-Owned Small Businesses with the capability to perform. All interested and capable respondents are requested to provide the information below. All responses to this notice shall include: company name, address, point of contact, phone number, DUNS number (www.dnb.com), list of available products, the geographical location the respondent is able to service, and a list of the respondent's establishment's certifications from private, State and/or local agencies documenting their safety and sanitary conditions and procedures.
