ADA Compliant Grating, Government Bridge

The Army Contracting Command - Rock Island is issuing this sources sought notice for Replacement of Structure 320 Sidewalk with ADA Grating on the Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island Illinois, to identify business sources with the capacity, experience and interest under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 238120. The scope of this project consists of furnishing labor, equipment and material to replace the steel grating on select portions of the Government Bridge (Structure 320). U.S. Army Garrison - Rock Island Arsenal has a requirement for the purchase and installation of various galvanized steel and aluminum grating products for the sidewalks on Structure 320 (Government Bridge). The current steel grating is not compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The selected product(s) shall be ADA compliant galvanized steel for selected lengths of sidewalk, ADA compliant aluminum for selected lengths of sidewalk, and galvanized steel in the remaining sections of sidewalk. The Government Bridge will be occupied during performance of work and shall remain in service to Pedestrian, Road and Rail, and Navigation traffic throughtout the project. Interesed parties should submit their information to the Interested Vendors list no later than 4:00 Central Standard Time (CST) on 30 May 2016. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Government. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract or otherwise pay for the information provided in the response. The Government will not accept requests for meetings or briefings.
