THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY FOR THE PURPOSES OF CONDUCTING MARKET RESEARCH. This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The Mission Installation Contracting Command at Fort Gordon, GA intends to solicit an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for Liquid Petroleum (LP) Gas. This contract would include one base year and four option years. Task Orders will be issued monthly. All LP Gas will be delivered to Fort Gordon, GA and Pointes West, Leah, GA. There are approximately 45 tanks from 250 Gal to 1000 Gal. There is an estimated Storage Capacity of 67,450 Gal. This contract will also include Pump-Outs. These will be used to transport previously purchased LP Gas to other tanks on location. The contractor shall establish and maintain a delivery schedule which will ensure that the level of fuel in each tank never falls below 30% storage capacity (unless otherwise notified). All normal deliveries shall be made from 7:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays. Emergency Delivery Orders shall be delivered within 24 hours notice. The contractor shall provide a phone number and a point of contact responsible 24 hour a day, 7 days a week. All deliveries will include receipt tickets on the date of delivery. Weekend delivery tickets shall be provided on the next following working day. The contractor shall provide properly maintained delivery equipment and properly trained delivery personnel to assure that deliveries are made without damage to buildings, vegetation, and pavement adjacent to tanks being filled or elsewhere on the installation or at the recreation center. Contractor delivery personnel who have not exercised reasonable care and delivery equipment that is poorly maintained may be refused entrance to the installation. Contractor shall furnish a copy of the Certification of Motor Calibration, as required by state of Georgia law, for all delivery equipment that may be used in performance of this contract. The pricing will include a coefficient that will be provided by the contractor for the entirety of the contract. This coefficient will be multiplied by the NYMEX posting of daily settlement prices for Product Code PT-Mt Belvieu Propane (OPIS). The NYMEX reading for each Task Order will come from the published number on the 26th day of the previous month. The Pump-Out pricing will be a fixed fee amount proposed by the contractor for the entirety of the contract.
