41--Air Handlers

This solicitation is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP), solicitation number VA-259-11-RP-0174 and is prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12. Prospective offerors are encouraged to view this site frequently for any amendments to the solicitation. The George E. Wahlen Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Salt Lake City, Utah, has a requirement for two (2) custom air handling units per the drawings, specifications and technical evaluation factors contained in the RFP. The contractor shall deliver air handling units to the mechanical room of the respective building and provide assembly of custom components as necessary for units to arrive satisfactorily at their destination. This requirement excludes connections to utilities. CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION (CCR). All contractors must register in the CCR prior to contract award. Registration may be started online at http://www.ccr.gov/ccrstart.html. The North American Industry Classification System code for this procurement is 423730. Contract will be awarded in the aggregate, to include two custom air handling units per specifications and drawings, delivery to the mechanical room and assembly. Offeror shall respond to Section E.4 of the RFP, 52.212-3: Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items.
