Western Area Power Administration, Rocky Mountain Region has a requirement for Conductor 477 ACSR 26/7 Code Name Hawk. Quantity: 112,500 Feet. NOTE: The Buy American Act applies to this solicitation. Refer to FAR clause 52.212-5(b)(39) and FAR Provision 52.212-3(f) if any non-domestic material will be quoted. Quoters must identify any non-domestic materials (not manufactured in the United States) included in their quote. Please check with your suppliers and subcontractors to verify whether or not their quotes include non-domestic material. The Trade Agreements Act and NAFTA do not apply to this set-aside solicitation. The solicitation is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Request for Quotes will be issued electronically on or about July 16, 2013. Quotes may be mailed to Western Area Power Administration, 1800 S Rio Grande Avenue, Montrose, CO 81401, e-mailed to [email protected], or submitted electronically. Prospective contractors must register in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at www.sam.gov. Prospective contractors must ensure their SAM registration includes the NAICS Code 331318 and that the Contractor meets the size standard requirement of 750 Employees in order to submit a quote in response to this solicitation. The Small Business Administration (SBA) has issued a class waiver to the Non-manufacturer Rule for Aluminum Conductor. The SBA class waiver list is current as of August 24, 2012 under NAICS 331319. SBA is in the process of updating the NAICS on the class waiver list. Quotes are due by 1:00 PM Mountain Time on Tuesday, August 6, 2013.
