NASA/DFRC will be co-sponsoring the HENAAC Conference from October 10-12 in HoustonTexas.The specifications are:HENAAC 2008 Conference-College Bowl event lead sponsorNASA Representative to present 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awards to College Bowl teams 1 College Bowl team1 Awards Show Presenter4 Professional registrations10X20 Career Fair Booth2 Breakfast and lunch tickets for the Career Fair2 Winners and Presenters Breakfast ticketsNASA/DFRC intends to sponsor the HENAAC. HENAAC is the only organization that hosts thistype of conference nationally. The education offices throughout NASA have chosen eventsto sponsor and HENAAC was chosen by Dryden and Johnson Space Center to sponsor.The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform theeffort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local timeon July 20, 2008. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for thepurpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and opencompetition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretionof the government.Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.An Ombudsman has been appointed.
