The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Jacksonville Florida intends to solicit proposals for a firm fixed price contract for rental and maintenance of clothes washers and dryers for various locations at the Naval Air Station, Meridian, MS. The contract will include a base and two option years. Period of performance for base year will begin 01 October 2004 through 30 September 2005. This procurement is a 100% small business set-aside and is being conducted under the Commercial Item Test Program Section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996. NAICS Code 532210. Size Standard is $6.0 million. All offeror’s shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration, www.ccr.gov. DFARS 252.204-7004 Alternate A applies. Quantities: 105 washers; 40 dryers; 146 stackable dryers. Washers and dryers are Type I, Class 4, 16-18 lb capacity (dry weight), commercial grade. Washers are top loading, heavy and continuous duty. Dryers are front-loading, heavy duty. Stackable dryers shall be installed in combinations of two each and shall not exceed a combined height of 74 inches. The Government intends to make a single award to the eligible, responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation.
