Preventative Maintenance(PM), Unscheduled Maintenance (UM), repair parts, and all associated work to repair/maintain all automotive equipment and Material Handling Equipment.

The Defense Distribution Center, Warner Robins, Georgia (DDWG) has a requirement for Preventive Maintenance (PM), Unscheduled Maintenance (UM), all repair parts, and all associated work to repair/maintain all automotive equipment and Material Handling Equipment (MHE). The contractor will be required to maintain and repair the current inventory of equipment. However, the inventory may change due to normal equipment cycle replacements. The services shall be provided on a per call and/or scheduled basis as required. This requirement is designed to ensure that the equipment within DDWG is maintained and repaired in accordance with established commercial standards and the performance standards specified. The Defense Distribution Center (DDC) is seeking offerors to perform the above functions which will be evaluated utilizing a Lowest Price/Technically Acceptable source selection process in accordance with FAR 15.101-2. The solicitation will be restricted to small businesses only. DDC anticipates the solicitation to be released on or about September 11, 2009. It is anticipated that the resultant contract will be awarded as a combined Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and Time and Materials contract with firm fixed rates for Preventative Maintenance with a ceiling price for labor (Unscheduled Maintenance) and materials for repairs on automotive and material handling equipment. It is further anticipated that the contract period of performance will be a one-year base period and two one-year options.
