Page 2 of 2 NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Regional Procurement Office East, Network Contracting Office 2 (NCO 2) intends to award a sole source contract award to Vyaire Medical, Inc. 26125 N Riverwoods Blvd. Mettawa, IL 60045. The period of performance for contract award will be January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024 with a provision of three (3) option years. This requirement is to provide Vyaire PFT Maintenance and support for the Rochester Outpatient Clinic, 260 Calkins Road, Rochester, NY 14623, Canandaigua VA Medical Center, 400 Fort Hill Avenue, Canandaigua, NY 14424, and the Bath VA Medical Center, 76 Veterans Avenue, Bath, NY 14810. All work shall be performed by Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) due to patents and copyright associated with the Vyaire PFT. Vyaire Medical, Inc. is the only known provider since the equipment is proprietary and maintenance therefore only be provided by Vyaire Medical, Inc. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award. Responses are due by November 10, 2023 10:00 a.m. (EST). Responses shall be submitted via e-mail to [email protected].
