Preventive Maintenance and Repair Services for U.S. Fire Apparatus and Trucks at Navy Region, Japan

This is a synopsis of pre-solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The NAICS code is 3 811198, All Other Automotive Repair and Maintenance Naval Facilities Engineering Command Far East Yokosuka, Japan intends to release a Request for Proposal (RFP) on a competitive basis for a five (5) year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract for the procurement of Preventive Maintenance and Repair Services for U.S. Fire Apparatus and Trucks at Navy Region, Japan. The resulting contract will have one (1) Base Period and four (4) one-year Option Periods comprised of recurring and non-recurring services. Please see the attached draft “Statement of Work” for more details. This requirement will be solicited on a full and open competitive basis with award being made to the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable offeror. Unless otherwise indicated in the solicitation, this is an Internet-only solicitation. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be provided.
