J--VISN 10 DME contract

This is a presolicitation notice synopsizing the upcoming release of a request for proposal (RFP) solicitation for a services contract- NO RESPONSE TO THIS SYNOPSIS IS REQUIRED The VA Healthcare System of Ohio, will be issuing a solicitation for the provision of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Services for it Medical Centers, Ambulatory Care Center, and Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC). The DME Services are considered to be commercial services and will generally consist of providing a comprehensive DME program furnishing all necessary labor, equipment, tools, materials, transportation, training, reports, and facilities necessary for the pick-up, delivery, cleaning, installation, repair (when required) and storage of DME items and also includes providing end user-level education regarding the proper use of the DME item being issued to the patient. The DME services will be provided for Veteran patients within VA Healthcare System of Ohio service area which includes: Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center, 10701 East Blvd, Cleveland, OH 44106, as well as Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC) and/or Outpatient Clinics in Akron, Canton, East Liverpool, Lorain, Mansfield, McCafferty, New Philadelphia, Painsville, Parma, Ravenna, Sandusky, Warren, and Youngstown. This acquisition will be totally set-aside for small business competition under NAICS code 621610, Home Health Services; the U. S. Small Business Administration's (SBA) size standard for this NAICS code is $15 million. The intended contract will be a single-award, 5-year Indefinite-Quantity contract.
