SYNOPSIS (Presolicitation Notice) The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center 830 Chalkstone Ave, Providence, Rhode Island (VAMC PRO, Facility 650) has a requirement for Diagnostic Medical Imaging Services Teleradiology for Weekends, Holidays, Evenings, Nights (WHEN), commonly called Nighthawk coverage and overcapacity reads (surge and overflow). The successful offerors accredited, board-certified radiologists will interpret Vista/PAC images (reads, cases, procedures) in the Radiology procedure codes listed in the American Medical Associations Current Procedure Terminology (CPT), codes 70010-78499, covering plain film cases, Computed/Computerized Tomography (CT) cases, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) cases, Ultrasound cases and Nuclear Medicine cases. The contractor will furnish an end-to-end, redundant, robust, secure network solution including server, broadband connectivity, VPN and compliance with NIST and VA Office of Cyber Security Standards. A four year (base plus three option year periods), Firm Fixed Price (FFP), single award IDIQ contract is under consideration; the quantity per period (base or option year) is: order estimate: 4,784 reads. Per read costs will be a percentage of prevailing category 26 State of Rhode Medicare par rates. The request for proposal (RFP) will be released for download on this web site within fourteen days or sooner. The procurement will be conducted using the procedures at FAR 12 in conjunction with FAR 15. Proposals will be evaluated based on technical, past performance and price evaluation. Award will be made to the offeror that provides the best value to the government. Interested offerors will respond to the RFP within thirty days of its release.
