U -- Published author/illustrator to provide standards-based visual arts education training

The Department of Defense Education Activity’s (DoDEA) intends to award on a sole source basis, using simplified acquisition procedures, a contract with Mr. Bob Marstall, Northhampton, MA. DoDEA requires the services of a published author/illustrator to provide 17 days of standards-based visual arts education curriculum and training for DoDEA teachers in the Pacific, Europe, and CONUS. This is part of the requirement that DoDEA provide technology training, as a result of the DoDEA Visual Arts Educator Survey, in visual arts courses. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. This notice is not a request for competitive quotations (RFQ), nor is an RFQ available.
