NOTICE OF INTENT TO SINGLE-SOURCE: Gulfstream G280 Initial and Recurrent Ground School and Flight Simulation Pilot Training

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC), intends to award a single-source Indefinite Delivery / Requirements type contract for Gulfstream G280 initial and recurrent pilot training for aircraft certification pilots employed by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The FAA intends to issue an award to FlightSafety International (DUNS 046173175) of Flushing, NY, for the required pilot training in a FAA certified simulator. This procurement is considered to be single-source as the vendor is the only known source that operates a FAA approved simulator in this aircraft. Purpose of Announcement: In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System paragraph 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the FAA's decision to contract with a selected source via single-source procedures.
