Notice of Intent to Single Source: Initial and Recurrent Pilot Qualification Training (BD-500-C)

NOTICE OF DECISION TO CONTRACT WITH A SINGLE-SOURCE: The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center, intends to award a single-source contract to Bombardier for pilot qualification training in the BD-500-C. This procurement is single-source due to Bombardier having the only FAA approved full flight simulator within North America. Purpose of Announcement: In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) Policy 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis of the FAA's decision to contract with a selected source via single-source procedures.
