Single Source Announcement -Flight Program Participant Pilot Training Services

THE FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION (FAA) INTENDS TO AWARD A SINGLE SOURCE CONTRACT TO ALLEN CORPORATION OF AMERICA, INC., 10400 EATON PL. STE 450, FAIRFAX, VA, 22030-2208 FOR A ONE YEAR FLIGHT PROGRAM PARTICIPANT PILOT TRAINING SERVICES CONTRACT. In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System paragraph 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis of the FAA's decision to contract with a selected source via single source procedures. Allen Corporation is only source available to satisfy the requirement within the time required due to the need for continuity of service. A market survey requesting capability statements for the follow on effort to this single source is forthcoming. Please do not provide a capability statement under this announcement. The proposed NAICs code for this acquisition is 611512, Flight Training, with a size standard of $27.5 million.
