U--Notice of Intent To Negotiate a SoleSource SDVOSB Purchase Order for Four Lenses Training.

This is a sole source procurement under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and Other Than Full and Open Competition (FAR 6.320-1) and (FAR 13.501). THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES, however; any SDVOSB firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer by 12:00 p.m. Mountain Time on 6 March 2009. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirements listed above. Responses received will be evaluated, however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion for the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source negotiation. Responses are due 6 March 2009 12:00pm Mountain Time. The U.S. Army, Fort Carson, Colorado, intends to negotiate a Service-Disabled-Veteran-Owned-Small Business (SDVOSB) sole-source purchase order with Shipley Communications for Four Lenses Training. The Four Lenses training/consultation to be provided on 27 March 2009. This training includes 9 four lenses kits and travel lodging and per diem to Fort Carson CO. The four lenses training is a personality inventory that assists participants of understanding their own style of communicating, working, problem solving, and enhances their ability to participate in team environments as they learn what their strengths and the strengths of others. This training is unique because it specializes in deployment readiness, reunion and reintegration for the military and their families. The four lenses training is applied directly to military members and their respective lifestyles. This is not a formal solicitation. This synopsis is for notification purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids or proposals. Information recieved will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All qualified sources may submit a response, which if timely recieved, will be considered by the agency. Responses need to provide evidence the offeror can provide the required products.
